About Us

Good Time Gang Cigar Club, LLC.

The Good Time Gang Cigar Club (GTG) is an international Cigar Club founded at Shelly’s Back Room Cigar Bar in Washington, DC on November 27, 2012. 19 men and 1 woman chartered the club on the principles of conversation and fellowship while smoking cigars. Our Mission: 1) To contribute to the betterment of our communities through charitable efforts. 2) Promote the truest essence of the cigar culture. 3) To enrich the lives of our members through fellowship, shared interests, and meaningful connections. 

GTGgives, Inc. 

GTGgives, Inc. was founded in 2024 to formalize and structure our individual chapters philanthropic efforts. The nonprofit coordinates our charitable efforts across all cities where a chapter is present to identify needs and opportunities at the chapter and national level. Our local chapters excel at supporting community efforts directly supporting single-parent homes, youth programs, elderly, students and educators, homeless, and many more.

Will there be a ‘no food’ option for registration this year? Answer: No. We will not have a ‘no food’ option this year based largely on the feedback received from the 2024 conference. How far is the resort from the airport and prominent venues in the Tampa area? Answer: Airport (30 mins.) … Ybor City (25 mins.) … Corona (30 mins.) What is the closest cigar lounge to the resort? Answer: Cigars International Lutz is 10 mins away. This will also serve as the official aftersmoke for Friday night of the conference. Will the resort group all GTG conference attendees together? Answer: The resort will work to keep all GTG conference attendees in the same vicinity. Is the lodging on the resort grounds as spread out as the 2024 conference site? Answer: No. Lodging on Saddlebrook is in close proximity to the venues and other lodging quarters/buildings. Does the resort have amenities that we can use during our stay for the conference? Answer: Yes. Amenities such as the spa are available to our members. Please see resort website for a full listing of amenities. Time is built into the agenda to give time to take advantage of resort amenities. Is smoking allowed on the resort grounds? Answer: Yes. Cigar smoking is allowed in outdoor venue spaces during conference events, in selected smoking areas, and on the patio/balconies. There is ABSOLUTELY NO smoking allowed in suites and indoor venue spaces. ANY member caught smoking indoors will be asked to leave the resort, face penalties, and will face suspension pending review by International leadership. Is the conference open to the public or members only? Answer: All are invited and welcome to attend the conference. The only event that is for members only are the Friday and Saturday morning meetings and training sessions. Is there a dress code for the conference? Answer: Yes. There are themed days when members are asked to wear specific items. Thursday night welcome reception: wear chapter specific shirts. Friday Hookday, black GTG polos. Saturday night, semi-formal attire is required for the Awards Banquet and Gala. The Thursday night welcome reception is at a pool. Is swimming allowed? Answer: Yes. Swimming is allowed. How do I register for the conference? Answer: Please scroll to the bottom of the website and click on the registration button to register and pay for the conference. What does the registration fee include? Answer: Registration includes access to all conference events for those that choose all access and to the specific events for those selecting the a la carte options. Registration also includes food for the Welcome Reception, Hookday, and Awards Banquet and Gala. All Access registrants will also receive a Swag bag with items provided by our sponsors and a special thank you from the Conference Marshall. Are group or early bird discounts available? Answer: Yes, there is an early bird discount. Please click on the registration button for early bird details. Can I register onsite? Answer: No. Please register online. What is the refund or cancellation policy? Answer: Registration refunds will ONLY be available for special circumstances. Please email the Conference Marshall at Flexecdm@gmail.com if a special circumstance arises. Resort booking refund and cancellation policy is identified on the booking site. Is parking available at the resort? Answer: Yes. Parking is available at the resort for a fee. All parking is valet only. There is a special price for conference registrants. Parking is $20/night and daily parking for those not staying at the resort is $12/day. Please note, you will not need your vehicle to access any conference event held on the grounds of the resort. Everything is within walking distance from your suite to the venues. Is transportation available from Tampa International Airport to the resort? Answer: Yes. The resort provides transportation from the airport to the resort. Transportation Concierge will make arrangements and reservations for nonstop transfers with independent transportation companies from and to Tampa International Airport as well as other airports. Charges can be placed on either master or individual room accounts. Arrangements can be made by calling Erin Santiago at 813-907-4455 or esantiago@saddlebrook.com. The final travel roster must be received seven (7) days in advance of first arrival. Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Answer: Yes. The resort is accessible wheelchairs. How do I request special a accommodation (dietary, accessibility, etc.)? Answer: Please make sure you note any special accommodation on the registration page. This is critical to ensure all dietary needs are addressed in ample time to accommodate your needs.
